Who this site is
Allowedbreast Concrete is a referral service. We help homeowners in Overland Park, KS and the Overland Park area plan new concrete driveways, stamped concrete, and patios. We do not mix, pour, or finish anything. Independent local providers do the work.
Why it exists
Concrete quotes can be confusing. Two bids may look far apart because one includes base prep and the other leaves it out. This site explains what drives the price so you can read a quote with more confidence. Price the whole slab, not just the top surface.
How matching works
You send an estimate request. Tell us the type of project, the rough size, and when you hope to start. We pass that to a provider in our network that handles new flatwork in your area. The provider then contacts you, asks questions, and may visit the site before giving you a written quote.
You can ask for more than one quote. Compare written quotes line by line.
What we ask of providers
Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:
- Explain the scope in plain words
- Put the quote in writing
- Answer questions about base, thickness, reinforcement, joints, and curing
- Talk honestly about weather and timing
You should still ask each provider about licensing and insurance that apply where you live, and ask to see proof.
What we do not do
- We do not perform concrete work.
- We do not set prices. Each provider sets their own.
- We do not promise a provider will be available at a certain time.
- We do not give legal or insurance advice.
This site is built for new projects. If you are weighing concrete driveway repair, or a slab that seems to be sinking near the house, a provider can tell you whether replacement makes sense. Foundation repair experts are a separate trade, so ask about that if you suspect a structural issue.
How we are paid
You do not pay Allowedbreast Concrete to send a request. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when they are connected with a homeowner. You pay only the provider you choose, under the terms of their written quote.
